Carefully created for historical re-enactors and modern enthusiasts. Designed by experts, manufactured with old world charm and modern technology. The durable steel alloy metal these frames are made of allows us to mimic the wonderfully timeless and elegant look of the most popular period eyewear shape, the rounded oval. The 42 mm eye size easily fits a large man's head as well as a petite woman's slender face. The bridge rests comfortably directly on the nose, due to the fact that nosepads were extremely uncommon during the era. With no nosepads to irritate, the frame sits barely noticeable upon the wearer's bridge. The arms on the McAllisters are also quite unique. They are straight with a slight curve, inward toward the head, at the ends. This completes the antique look, while also providing great comfort. The length has been designed to easily adjust for a large or narrow head.
