We first noted light, spare-looking metal frames like these on the faces of up-and-coming architects, who favored designs that reflected their own aesthetics of grace, efficiency and an understanding of the harmony of artfully integrated materials. The look was extremely subtle, nearly invisible. In conversation, it would take a minute or so before you realize that the sparkling glints around the eyes of the wearer was from the gleaming metals and crystalline lenses of their glasses.

Our interpretation of these decidedly modern frames proves that "form follows function," if the ideal function is to create the least intrusive look that one could expect in a pair of rimless eyewear. Our engineers, following a less-is-more philosophy, eliminated the hinge hardware, securely connecting the graceful bend of the temples directly to the lens mounts, which are capped with tiny hexagonal beads, avoiding the hardware look of screws. The resulting light and airy appearance is flattering for both men and women who prefer just the suggestion of sleek gold or silver. The bridge and nose pad mounts are smoothly integrated, helping to make these frames a minimalistıs dream. Just like our other high-end creations, Duolettes are elite enough to warrant our jewelry bead tips at the end of both temples. In todayıs competitive, streamlined world, small advantages like Duolettes may indeed be unfair, but necessary.

Though the young architects who inspired these frames were limited in their choice of lens design, we are proud to offer Duolettes in Round, Oval and Enhanced Oval (also known as P3) shapes. You can choose between gold plate and silver finish, over premium stainless steel. Our use of quality metals allows you to shape the temple for a perfect fit.
